1. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect through the Wonder Around mobile application, our website and landing pages, communications with users, and related support, purchase, and account services.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party services that you access through the Services or that are governed by their own privacy policies, including Apple App Store, TestFlight, and other third-party providers.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Wonder Around, we may collect the following categories of information.

A. Information You Provide Directly

• personalization information you enter, such as names, preferences, themes, categories, and age range selections,
• saved discoveries, saved stories, and other content you choose to store in your account.

Wonder Around may collect your location information if you grant permission on your device. This may include precise location information when needed to provide nearby discoveries, location-based storytelling, maps, and related features.

You can control location permissions in your device settings, but some location-based features may not function properly without access to location data.

C. Purchase and Subscription Information

If you make purchases through the Services, we may receive information related to your purchase status, entitlements, subscriptions, product identifiers, and purchase history.

We do not receive your full payment card number from Apple. Payments for in-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.

We do not sell your personal information.

A. Service Providers

We may share information with vendors and service providers who help us operate Wonder Around, such as providers for cloud hosting and database services, user authentication, maps and geolocation features, purchase and entitlement management, AI generation and related processing, customer support, and analytics and diagnostics, if used.

B. Legal and Safety Reasons

5. Purchases, Credits, and Restore Functionality

Wonder Around may offer one-time purchases, subscriptions, premium access, or credit packs. Purchase transactions are handled by Apple through the App Store.

We may use third-party purchase infrastructure to validate purchases, manage entitlements, and support restore functionality. Purchase history and entitlement status may be associated with your Wonder Around account in order to provide access across reinstallations or multiple devices, where applicable.

Credits, saved content, and restore behavior may depend on your Wonder Around account and the app's current product design.

6. AI and Content Processing

Wonder Around may use third-party AI service providers to generate stories, discoveries, narration, summaries, or related content. To provide these features, we may send relevant prompts, personalization fields, and request content to those providers as needed to operate the Services.

We instruct our service providers to process data on our behalf and only as reasonably necessary to provide the Services.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• provide the Services,
• maintain your account,
• preserve saved stories, discoveries, or purchases,
• comply with legal obligations,
• resolve disputes,

Retention periods may vary based on the type of data, the feature involved, whether you maintain an account, and our legal or operational obligations.

When we no longer need data, we will delete it or de-identify it where reasonably practical, subject to backup, legal, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting, and security requirements.

8. Your Choices

• Account Information: You may update certain account details in the app or by contacting us.
• Location Permissions: You can change location permissions in your device settings.
• Push Notifications: You can disable push notifications in your device settings.
• Saved Content: You may delete certain saved discoveries, stories, or account content within the app, where those features are available.
• Purchases: You can manage App Store purchases and subscriptions through your Apple account settings.
• Account Deletion: You may request deletion of your account by contacting us at support@wonder-around.com. If in-app account deletion is available, you may also use the deletion option inside the app.

If you request deletion, we may retain limited information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, tax and accounting compliance, or enforcement of agreements.

9. Children's Privacy

Wonder Around is designed to be used by parents, guardians, and families together. Any child-related personalization information entered into the app is expected to be provided by a parent, guardian, or other authorized adult user.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children in violation of applicable law.
